Why late filers come to CALX
Work starts on arrival
The computation starts when your trial balance arrives. You get a date for the draft before you commit to anything.
Penalty arithmetic done for you
We set out the penalty position month by month, so you can see what filing now saves against filing later.
FTA registered tax agents
Registered Tax Agency No. 30002943. If the FTA has already written to you about the missed date, we answer them for you.
Approved auditors too
If the return needs audited accounts behind it, the same firm signs the audit. DIFC, JAFZA and IFZA approved.
How we file a late or last-minute return
Fix the position
We confirm your tax period, the due date that applied and the penalty already running. That takes one call.
Compute from what you have
A trial balance or management accounts are enough to start. Missing items are listed for you, not left to stall the file.
Submit and confirm
You approve, we file on EmaraTax and send you the acknowledgement. The late filing penalty stops accruing once the return is in.
What the deadline rules actually say
Four points decide what a late return costs. None of them is negotiable, so the only variable is how soon you file.
Nine months
The return and the payment are both due nine months after the end of the tax period. There is no separate, later payment date.
AED 500, then AED 1,000
Late filing costs AED 500 for each month or part month for the first twelve months, then AED 1,000 a month after that.
Late payment
Unpaid tax carries a penalty of 14% a year, applied monthly, from the day after the due date until it is paid.
Short first periods
Some first tax periods ending on or before 29 February 2024 had a postponed date. That was a one-off, not a general extension.
Every month of delay adds a fixed amount. Filing this month costs less than filing next month.
Choose the level of cover that fits
Every plan is a fixed fee, quoted before we start. Late returns are quoted the same way, with the penalty position set out alongside.

Corporate tax deadline questions
When is the corporate tax return deadline in the UAE?
Nine months after your financial year end. A 31 December 2025 year end is due 30 September 2026. A 31 March 2026 year end is due 31 December 2026.
What is the late filing penalty for corporate tax in the UAE?
AED 500 for each month, or part month, for the first twelve months from the day after the deadline. It rises to AED 1,000 per month after that.
What is the fine for late corporate tax registration?
AED 10,000. Registration is separate from filing, and you still have to file the return.
We are already past the deadline. Can you still file?
Yes. The penalty accrues monthly, so filing sooner limits what it reaches. Send us the trial balance and we will move.
Can the corporate tax deadline be extended?
There is no general extension. Plan for the nine month date after your year end.
