He came to it through external audit, financial control inside industry, and advisory, which is why he tends to look at a set of accounts the way the client's own finance director would. He signs every opinion the firm issues and holds tax agent registration in his own name.

Saqib has served as Regional Director of the Institute of Financial Accountants for the past nine years. His practice is corporate structuring, company formation and international tax, and he founded a professional network for tax specialists working in the UAE.

Naffar chaired the UAE chapter of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan through 2024 and 2025, the institute's largest membership body outside Pakistan. His practice covers VAT, excise, corporate tax and assurance, at partner level throughout.

Ashfaq works either side of the UAE and Europe, on company formation, taxation and ERP implementation. Thirteen years in accounting and advisory, most of it alongside founders setting up operations in a market they do not yet know.

Kamran came to CALX from the client side. He spent over a decade running audit, consolidation and reporting for a multi-entity group, preparing consolidated accounts, board and shareholder reporting, five-year plans and cash flow forecasts. He knows what an audit looks like from the inside, which is the point of putting him on quality review.

Omer advises businesses entering and operating in the UAE on structuring, tax and compliance, at entity and group level. His clients are typically foreign owners who need the regulatory position settled before they commit.

Azam holds Federal Tax Authority registration in his own name, which allows him to act for taxpayers directly rather than through the firm. Nine years with CALX, spent almost entirely on the authority's side of the file: registrations, filings, assessments and queries.

Sajjad's specialism is business risk. Internal audit, enterprise risk management, internal controls over financial reporting, and the policies and procedures that sit underneath them, with a sector concentration in hospitality and real estate built over thirteen years.

Seventeen years across accounting, external audit and internal audit. Adnan trained in a chartered practice, then spent a decade running the finance function inside textiles, manufacturing, automotive and telecoms, which is where he learned what a set of books needs to survive an audit.

Manahil leads statutory audits from planning to completion under IFRS, ISA and UAE regulatory requirements. She builds the audit strategy around each client's business model rather than a template, evaluates internal controls and accounting systems, and reviews every working paper before a file is closed.

Ahsan trained in external audit and spent two years as a manager at CALX before specializing. His work is outsourced finance functions and cloud accounting systems, which suits clients who want a full finance department without hiring one.

Sixteen years in accounting, finance and administration, eight of them at CALX. Haider covers bookkeeping, accountancy and tax compliance, and came to the firm through shared services and finance analysis across healthcare, trading and manufacturing.

Samana joined CALX from internal audit, where she ran procurement audits end to end, tested authorization matrices against live contracts and supported external audit teams. She trained in a chartered practice, and four years in has covered audit, accounts and financial controls.

Parkha owns the client relationship from first contact through to onboarding, handling proposals, quotations and engagement coordination. Her background is in digital marketing, which shows in how CALX communicates.

Sixteen years in IT audit and information risk. Amir has led IT general controls, access management and change management reviews for banks, financial services firms, manufacturers and contractors, on engagements across Pakistan, Afghanistan and the UAE.

Rizwan is a chartered accountant and runs audit fieldwork: planning the tests, leading the team on site, and reviewing the working papers before a file goes to the partner. He works under IFRS and ISA on mainland and free zone audits.
